To be inspired is to be aroused and motivated into doing something; it means to be driven towards achieving your goal(s). It’s that invisible force that allows you to withstand the storms and perils that your business will face. I felt this topic is so important for entrepreneurs hence I decided to make it the topic of my first video.
Running a business is always challenging and sometimes things do not go according to your business plan. Even worse, you might get to the point of wanting to throw in the towel and quit; it is the inspiration of the business owner that allows him or her to be open to failure and to see it as part of the journey towards becoming successful.
For those who are already successful; it is their inspiration that keep them grounded and focused. It’s so easy to get into so many different things when you lose your inspiration; your centre of gravity!
In these challenging times one cannot avoid seeing and hearing all the negative stories on the news; it’s downright depressing. There has never been a time more important than now for you to hold onto those things, people, and ideas that inspire you and are the reason(s) for why you are in business!
In this video I highlight three reasons why I think that you need to always be inspired because your business is depending on it.

First of all what is inspiration, inspiration is that thing that drives you to get stuff done, that thing, that invisible force that makes you go, put yourself in situations where you might be scared, whatever but you just go ahead and get stuff done because, you know there are several reasons behind why you need to get, be successful in whatever you’re doing and those are the things that basically jump starts you. Its like you turn on the car, and you turn on the engine it starts you. So that’s why your business needs you to be inspired because when you have something in your life that inspires you it let’s you go through everything the good the bad and all the journeys that life has to bring to you.
So what inspires you? For me, I’m inspired by my family, my mom, my daughter, my sisters, and even my fiancée who I’m looking forward to creating a family with. And also the fact what I’m doing right now my goal is to make sure the business that I’m involved with, I provide value to people and in essence leave behind a legacy for people when I’m gone. So that’s what inspires me. So now that I know that these are the things that inspires me, I know that, okay, Rome was not built in a day in a day so I understand that my success is not going to be built in a day. It’s gonna be a process, It’s gonna be eventual, I have to go through everything.
So you started, with the fact the you have a business plan thinking that you gonna have several things done within the specific period of time and if it turns out it doesn’t go like the way you planned, like all businesses will not go the way they plan initially.
Without that inspiration how you gonna go through that period where you begin to have self doubt? So this is why your business needs you to always be inspired because you gonna always be the one who’s carrying that business through different journeys that it goes through and gets to the point where it is successful.
So number one, why your business needs you to always be inspired? Well, the inspiration you have, helps you deal with the failure of your business. Because every business don’t go through a failure, actually several different you know failures and all that and you have different failures and you have successes, different failures, successes and that’s the way it is.
You just have to be ready for failures because if you’re not ready for failures, then you might not want to be in business. But if you have something that inspires you, that underlying thing inside of you that inspires you to wanna do your business, want to perform and give your best, that is gonna help you during the times when you fail. So your business needs you to have inspiration.
Also it keeps you centered and focused, and okay now you going through process where you have failures now you have successes and okay you start building, building up on your successes. Sometimes people just lose focus, and get involve in so many different things, but when you have those things that got you involve in the business in the first place, it kinda keeps you centered, it kinda keeps you focused on what your initial goal is. So that’s another reason why your business needs you to always be inspired.
And also the third reason is this, is that it helps you drive, it drives you to success. Because just like that feul, that you know burns and just keeps, keeps you going, and keeps you going and you’re gonna get to where you need to get to, you’re gonna be successful. That’s why your business needs you to always be inspired.
